BTS will not submit music for the 2027 Grammy Awards

BTS said on July 29, 2026, across members' Instagram accounts that they will not enter music for the 69th Annual Grammy Awards, set for February 7, 2027, in Los Angeles. The group, five times nominated but never winner, cited the new Best Asian Pop Music Performance category. Grammy CEO Harvey Mason jr. said submissions there remain eligible for general categories including Album of the Year.
