'Now Apocalypse' Season 2 was fully written and cast paid before Starz cancellation, Araki tells Deadline

Gregg Araki told Deadline on 29 July 2026 that a full second season of Now Apocalypse was written and the cast was paid before Starz cancelled the series. The halt followed a leadership change that ousted the executive in charge. Starz cancelled the half-hour comedy after one 10-episode season in July 2019. Araki remained interested in reviving the series as of 2023.
