Leguizamo says Ice Age voice work paid for college, homes and a theatre career
John Leguizamo told Entertainment Tonight that voicing Sid the sloth across the Ice Age franchise — which has grossed $3.2 billion worldwide — "paid my bills," funded his children's college, and bought him "a second and a triple home." The income let him pursue stage work. Leguizamo has voiced Sid since the first Ice Age film in 2002. (Variety, 29 July 2026.)
