Co-writer Adeyemi's distress video follows day after "Children of Blood and Bone" trailer launch; Paramount silent

Paramount debuted the "Children of Blood and Bone" trailer on July 28, 2026. One day later, co-screenwriter Tomi Adeyemi posted a five-minute video calling the production "the worst thing I have ever had to live through" and alleging she left set "hyperventilating and sobbing." The film is dated January 15, 2027. Paramount, director Gina Prince-Bythewood, and Adeyemi's representatives have not responded to Variety's requests for comment.
