Bow Echo matches Frankel with milers' triple crown at Goodwood

Bow Echo won the £1.5m Sussex Stakes at Goodwood on 29 July 2026 by half a length from Gstaad, completing the milers' triple crown — the 2,000 Guineas, St James's Palace Stakes and Sussex Stakes. Only Frankel (2012) had previously swept all three. Trained by George Boughey and ridden by 20-year-old Billy Loughnane, Bow Echo is unbeaten in six starts.
