World champion Wu Yize sets up Shanghai quarter-final rematch with Shaun Murphy

Wu Yize beat Si Jiahui 6-2 in the Shanghai Masters second round, striking breaks of 108 and two 140s despite telling BBC Sport he felt rusty. The win sets up a quarter-final against Shaun Murphy, a repeat of the 2026 World Championship final. Wu has beaten Murphy twice this year — at the Crucible and in the Masters first round.
