Latigo Films and Inaugural Entertainment Acquire Screen Rights to Richard Pryor Memoir by His Daughter

Latigo Films and Inaugural Entertainment have acquired screen adaptation rights to "Something We Said: Richard Pryor, a Notorious Word and Me" by Elizabeth Stordeur Pryor, Deadline reports. The Simon & Schuster memoir, published 2 June 2026, is by Pryor's daughter — a history professor. Producers are David Lipper, Robert A. Daly Jr., Pryor, and Julie Merson. A screenwriter and director are expected to be announced.
