
Apple's Klarna-Financed Upgrade Lease Keeps Devices Functional After Payment Default
Apple launched its Upgrade leasing program on July 28 in the US, financed through Klarna with zero interest or late fees. If a customer misses payments, the device stays fully operational. After three missed payments, Klarna terminates the lease and pursues the outstanding balance — but imposes no functionality limits on the device at any point.
