Gleam v1.18.0 Adds Record Field Navigation and Rename to Language Server

Gleam v1.18.0, released July 29, 2026, adds go-to-definition, find-references, and rename support for record fields to its language server. The typed functional language compiles to Erlang/BEAM and JavaScript. The release also adds type variable renaming, automatic import updates on module file renames, a pattern-match code action, and a JavaScript backend optimization that reduces garbage collection pressure.
