Cumming and McGregor to star in Supernova stage premiere at 370-seat Pitlochry

Alan Cumming and Ewan McGregor will headline the world stage premiere of Supernova at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, a 370-seat venue in Highland Perthshire, from 24 July to 21 August 2027. Cumming, the theatre's artistic director, called McGregor "a fellow Perthshire home boy." Harry Macqueen adapts his own 2020 film in his playwriting debut. John Tiffany directs. Priority booking opens 29 July 2026.
