Influence Media to buy Anthem Entertainment for over $600 million, backed by BlackRock

On July 29, Influence Media Partners signed an agreement to acquire Anthem Entertainment's music publishing, master recording and film/TV scoring assets for over $600 million. The catalogue spans 24,000-plus songs. BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, is the primary financing partner. The deal requires Canadian Heritage approval and is expected to close in Q4 2026.
