Frank Grillo to star in P.J. Pesce's political kidnapping comedy 'Show of Hands'

Frank Grillo has attached to star in "Show of Hands," a political kidnapping comedy set during the week before the 2024 US presidential election, Deadline reported on 29 July 2026. P.J. Pesce wrote the screenplay and will direct. Grillo plays Barlow Galligan, a conservative small-town mayor and congressional candidate whose son kidnaps him to extort a film budget. No production start or release date is set.
