
FIFA charges Argentina's Paredes, Molina and Ayala with assault after World Cup final
FIFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against Argentina over altercations with Spain players after their 1-0 World Cup final defeat in New York. Leandro Paredes faces three assault charges, Nahuel Molina two plus unsporting behaviour, and assistant coach Roberto Ayala one. Spain's Gavi and Argentina's Thiago Almada face unsporting behaviour charges. Assault carries a minimum three-match ban.
