FIFA seeks £7.5 billion in private investment for the World Cup

FIFA wants over £7.5 billion from private investors — equity firms and sovereign wealth funds — to buy into the World Cup and its tournaments through a new $20 billion subsidiary, FIFA Forward Enterprise.
