Gregg Araki returns to features after 12 years with 'I Want Your Sex,' opening July 31

Gregg Araki's first feature in 12 years, "I Want Your Sex," reaches wide theatrical release on 31 July 2026 via Magnolia Pictures. The 90-minute comedy stars Olivia Wilde as a provocative artist and Cooper Hoffman as her assistant in a BDSM workplace relationship. It premiered at Sundance in January 2026. Magnolia acquired U.S. rights in a seven-figure deal, Deadline reported.
