Till the Stars Come Down to play Nottinghamshire for the first time

Beth Steel's Olivier-nominated play, set in a former Nottinghamshire mining town, will be staged in the county for the first time. Till the Stars Come Down runs at Nottingham Playhouse from 5 to 26 September 2026, directed by Caroline Steinbeis. AK Golding leads the cast as bride Sylvia. The play premiered at the National Theatre in 2024 before transferring to the West End.
