TCM Revives 'Films on Film' as Weekly Friday Night Franchise

TCM is reviving "Films on Film," pairing a documentary about cinema with curated feature films, on Fridays at 5 p.m. PT, hosted by Ben Mankiewicz, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Programming VP Charlie Tabesh said an associate of Steven Spielberg suggested the format. The slate runs late summer through October, opening with the broadcast premiere of "Charles Grodin: Rebel With a Cause" (2025).
