Hoare denies witnessing Glasgow murder, says knife encounter was separate incident six miles away
Australian 1500m champion Olli Hoare, 29, says he did not witness a murder at the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Running with teammate Ky Robinson along the river, he passed a "police dispute" where one person held a knife. The killing of Paul McMinigal was "six miles away and also at a different time." Team Australia was told not to wear kit in the city afterwards.
