'Clicky Ponting' fielder responds to cheating claims as league investigates finger-click row
Brian Devine, a Saltburn second XI fielder nicknamed 'Clicky Ponting', has publicly responded to cheating allegations after video of a league match was viewed over seven million times. The clip appears to show him clicking his fingers to fool the umpire into thinking the ball hit the bat before a catch. The North Yorkshire and South Durham Cricket League is investigating. Neither club has commented.
