'Earliest Show' adaptation fully self-financed with no platform attached

Deadline reported on 29 July 2026 that Amplify Pictures and Stay Tuned are fully co-financing the TV adaptation of The Earliest Show — Funny or Die's Emmy-nominated 2016 digital series — with no network or streamer as commissioning partner. Irony Point and Funny or Die are also attached. Ben Schwartz writes and directs all episodes. The finished series will seek a buyer.
