Arokodare joins Ajax on loan from Wolves with permanent option

Ajax have signed Nigeria striker Tolu Arokodare on loan from Wolves for 2026-27, with an option to buy next summer. Wolves paid Genk £24m for the 25-year-old in September 2025. He scored 3 in 33 league games as Wolves were relegated, and was disciplined after a confrontation with teammate Mateus Mane.
