Oscar-Nominated Costume Designer Jean-Pierre Dorléac Dies at 83

Jean-Pierre Dorléac, the Oscar-nominated costume designer of the 1980 romantic fantasy 'Somewhere in Time,' has died at 83. A family spokesperson confirmed that Dorléac died of natural causes at his Hollywood Hills home, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 29 July 2026. He also won Emmys for 'Battlestar Galactica' (1979) and 'The Lot' (2001).
