Janus Films restores 'Welcome II the Terrordome' from a print after Technicolor lost the negative

Janus Films opens a 2K restoration of Ngozi Onwurah's 1995 'Welcome II the Terrordome' on 31 July 2026 at BAM, New York. The first theatrically distributed British feature directed by a Black woman, it was rebuilt from a theatrical print — the original negative was lost when Technicolor went bust.
