Chief magistrate delays Sandringham confrontation trial to December 2026 over accused's mental health

Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring adjourned the trial of Alex Jenkinson, 39, from 29 July to December 2026, citing concerns over the accused's mental health. Jenkinson denies threatening behaviour and possessing an offensive weapon during an alleged incident near the Sandringham Estate on 6 May 2026. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor had been expected to give evidence via video link.
