Subnautica 2 tops 5 million copies in 22 days of early access

Subnautica 2 sold more than 5 million copies in its first 22 days of early access, publisher Krafton disclosed in its Q2 2026 earnings report on 29 July. The underwater survival sequel launched on Xbox Series X/S and PC on 14 May 2026. Developer Unknown Worlds, acquired by Krafton in 2021, has not announced a full-release date.
