Rayo Vallecano banned from stadium over Legionnaires' and fire risks

Madrid's regional government has indefinitely suspended Rayo Vallecano's licence to host matches at the Estadio de Vallecas, citing risks of Legionnaires' disease and fires from accumulated rubbish, debris and electrical faults. Rayo rent the ground from the government. Official Mariano de Paco said the club failed to maintain the stadium and prove water quality. Repairs could take two to six months.
