Ex-Arsenal Defender Tomiyasu on Trial at Crystal Palace After Injury-Ravaged Exit

Takehiro Tomiyasu is on a pre-season trial at Crystal Palace, travelling to Italy for the Como Cup and named among the substitutes against Famalicão on 28 July. Arsenal terminated the 26-year-old's contract by mutual agreement in July 2025 after injuries limited him to a handful of appearances in his final season. The trial is his shot at proving fitness and earning a new Premier League deal.
