IMDb has named Preity Mukhundhan the latest recipient of its Breakout Star STARmeter Award, per a Deadline exclusive on 29 July 2026. The recognition follows her performances in the Tamil films Blast and Idhayam Murali, which released within two months of each other. Mukhundhan, who entered the industry in 2024, ranked second on IMDb's Popular Indian Celebrities list one week, then sixth the next.
