Mixed Lab Results Complicate Probe Into 15 Elephant Deaths in Kenya

Kenya Wildlife Service is investigating 15 elephant deaths in Amboseli after a University of Nairobi lab found a "potential toxic substance" in tissue samples, while a government lab's toxin screen came back negative. KWS has not explained the mismatch. Ten elephants showed partial paralysis before dying within two days. Testing of local water sources continues.
