New York City published roughly 960,000 property records on 27 July 2026 identifying owners who could face the state's first pied-à-terre tax — a surcharge of 0.8–6.5 percent on non-primary residences. Art-world figures named include Larry Gagosian (East 75th Street mansion, city-assigned value US$63.3 million), David Zwirner (US$10.6 million), Julian Schnabel and Adam Lindemann (US$41 million).
