Providence Takes Full Ownership of THE•TEAM, Buying Out Founder Casey Wasserman

Providence Equity Partners, THE•TEAM's majority owner since 2022, has acquired founder Casey Wasserman's remaining stake, per an internal memo obtained by Billboard on July 28, 2026. The ~$3 billion agency — whose touring roster includes Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and Kendrick Lamar — stays intact as one entity. The sale is expected to close within 45 to 60 days.
