Jersey's first Commonwealth gold in 36 years as 18-year-old Nowacki wins 200m breaststroke

Filip Nowacki, 18, led the men's 200m breaststroke final from start to finish at Tollcross, Glasgow, touching in 2:07.87. Canada's Oliver Dawson took silver; Olympic champion Zac Stubblety-Cook bronze. The gold is Jersey's first in any sport at the Commonwealth Games since Colin Mallett's shooting title in Auckland in 1990 — and the island's first-ever Commonwealth swimming title.
