A UK jury convicted two Youth Demand activists of criminal damage after they covered a Picasso at the National Gallery in London with a photograph of a Palestinian mother and child and poured red paint in the gallery, The Telegraph reported on 27 July 2026. The charge covers physical harm to property under English law. The case was heard before a jury.
