EYE conducts 200-cymbal orchestra at Watermill Center festival honouring Robert Wilson

Yamantaka Eye (EYE), frontman of Boredoms, conducted 200 people each playing one cymbal at the Watermill Center in Water Mill, New York, on 25 July 2026. Hisham Bharoocha helped organise the players. The piece extends EYE's 2007–08 mass-percussion works, which gathered 77 then 88 drummers. The festival, titled "Limitless Time," honoured founder Robert Wilson, who died the previous year.
