King Gizzard Release Title Track from 'Alien Metal,' Their First Hard Electronic Album

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard released the title track of "Alien Metal" on July 28, per Pitchfork. Billboard calls it the Australian six-piece's first hard electronic project; Consequence of Sound terms it techno. The 28th LP, following 2025's "Phantom Island," is due later this summer on p(doom) Records, the band's own label. A second single, "Level 5," preceded it.
