Flanagan Completes Outlines for Amazon's Warhammer 40,000 Series, Script Next

IGN reported on 8 July 2025 that Mike Flanagan has completed initial outlines for Amazon MGM Studios' Warhammer 40,000 series and is expected to begin writing the script shortly. Henry Cavill is attached to star and executive produce. Amazon acquired global rights to the Games Workshop property in December 2024. Flanagan signed a multi-year overall deal with the studio in March. Whether he will serve as showrunner is undetermined.
