Amazon developing half-hour comedy starring Atsuko Okatsuka

Amazon is developing a half-hour comedy series as a starring vehicle for stand-up comedian Atsuko Okatsuka, centred on modern marriage, Deadline reported on 28 July 2026. The project is in early development — no pilot has been filmed. Okatsuka writes and executive-produces with Josh Rabinowitz. Hiro Murai and Ramy Youssef executive-produce through their respective companies, Super Frog and Cairo Cowboy. Amazon declined to comment.
