Star Wars on-set VFX workers unanimously vote to join IATSE

U.S.-based on-set visual effects workers across Star Wars productions — including The Mandalorian & Grogu, Ahsoka, and Star Wars: Starfighter — unanimously voted to unionize with IATSE, the union announced on 28 July 2026. The new bargaining unit will negotiate its first contract with the studio. IATSE represents 170,000 entertainment workers across the U.S. and Canada.
