Square Enix's Gemini Quest, a July 30 in-person event across four Tokyo locations, asks players to photograph monster statues and cast spells via Google Gemini's AR. It follows a Gemini-powered "Chatty Slimey" AI companion for Dragon Quest X announced March 22, 2026, with rollout beginning late April. Completers receive a physical "mini medal" collectible.
