Danny McBride to receive Flannery O'Connor Award at Rome International Film Festival

Georgia native Danny McBride will receive the Flannery O'Connor Award for Storytelling at the 23rd Rome International Film Festival, set for November 5–8, 2026, in Rome, Georgia, per Deadline. The prize, inaugurated at RIFF in 2021 with Billy Bob Thornton as first recipient, honours storytellers whose work carries a distinct voice rooted in the American South.
