National Geographic Greenlights Ralston Documentary Featuring Unseen Video Diary from 2003 Canyon Ordeal
National Geographic has greenlit an untitled documentary about climber Aron Ralston, drawing on never-before-seen video footage he shot over six days trapped by a boulder in Bluejohn Canyon, Utah, in 2003, before severing his own arm to survive. Oscar-winning Man on Wire director James Marsh directs; Magna Studios produces. Release is planned for 2027, per Deadline.
