UEFA accuses FIFA of trying to 'sell the soul of football' over World Cup rights plan

UEFA has accused FIFA of "attempting to sell the soul of football" after FIFA announced plans to sell a minority stake in World Cup commercial rights via a $20bn entity called FIFA Forward Enterprise, set up with JP Morgan. UEFA is considering legal action and has urged FAs, leagues, clubs, players, and governments to oppose the plan.
