"Children of Blood and Bone" Author Refuses to Promote Paramount Adaptation

Paramount released the first trailer for "Children of Blood and Bone" on 28 July 2026, but author Tomi Adeyemi posted on TikTok: "There is a reason I will not post anything about the adaptation of my work. That's all." The Hollywood Reporter says Adeyemi also messaged cast member Amandla Stenberg: "Do not ever use my name in an interview or video again. Do not text me. Do not call me." The film opens 15 January 2027.
