Shenzhen Natural History Museum opens as South China's largest

The Shenzhen Natural History Museum opened to the public on July 27, 2026, beside Yanzi Lake in Pingshan District, claiming the title of South China's largest natural history museum. A consortium led by 3XN of Copenhagen with B+H Architects and Zhubo Design won the commission in a November 2020 international competition.
