Guggenheim Abu Dhabi to open 11 December 2026

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi announced that Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, designed by Frank Gehry, will open on 11 December 2026 on Saadiyat Island. The project was first unveiled in 2006; Abu Dhabi's media office said in 2021 the building would be complete in 2025. The museum will cover art from the 1960s to the present.
