Spider-Man 2 update doubles as cross-promotion for Sony film and fighting game

A July 28, 2026 patch for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 added two free Peter Parker suits. The Fresh Start suit matches the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, in theatres the same week. The cel-shaded Tōkon: Fighting Souls suit teases a Sony-published fighting game releasing August 6. One patch, three Sony properties promoted.
