
Second-placed Wakefield land fourth 2027 signing as title race continues
Wakefield Trinity, second in Super League with seven rounds left, have signed Cook Islands hooker Mason Teague from Burleigh Bears on a two-year deal for 2027. He replaces Tyson Smoothy, who is joining NRL newcomers Perth Bears. Teague is Wakefield's fourth arrival for next season alongside Cameron Smith, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Emre Guler.
