Saltwater Band and blues musician Marlene Cummins named 2026 NIMAs Hall of Fame inductees

The NIMAs have named blues musician Marlene Cummins and Saltwater Band as 2026 Hall of Fame inductees, per Billboard on July 28, 2026. Saltwater Band's late member Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu, already a solo inductee, sold an estimated half a million records worldwide — the most by any Aboriginal Australian musician. The ceremony takes place August 8 at Darwin Amphitheater.
