FSB claims Khabarovsk spying arrest for NZ; Wellington won't comment

Russia's FSB says it arrested a 55-year-old Russian in Khabarovsk on 27 July 2026, accusing him of contacting the NZSIS and passing information harmful to Russian security. An expert told Stuff to take the claims with a "large bucket of salt." No New Zealand agency, minister, or official has confirmed or denied the account.
