Royal Mail's steepest price hike hits NHS and tax mail

Royal Mail will raise wholesale prices 36.1% on its economy service — used by the NHS, tax authorities, and banks — from October 2026, part of an average 25% increase called "unprecedented" by the Mail Users' Association.
